The Greatest Love of All

This is also Somebody’s work and I came across in 1990s and copied it on a piece of paper and to blog it is a good way to save it and share.

The greatest Love of All   

I believe the children are our future.

Teach them well and let them lead the way

Show them all the beauty they possess inside

Let the children’s laughters

Remind us how we used to be

Everybody is searching for a hero

People need someone to look up to

I never found one who fulfilled my needs

A lonely place to be

And so I learnt to depend on me.

I decided long ago

Never to walk in anyone’s shadow

If I fall, if I succeed

At least I’ll live as I believe

No matter what they take from me

They can’t take away my dignity

Because the greatest love of all

Is happening to me

I found the greatest love of all

Inside of me

The greatest love of all

Is easy to achieve

Learning to love yourself

Is the greatest love of all

And if by chance that special place

That you’ve been dreaming of

Leads you to a lonely place

Find your strength in love

Strength of joy

This is the composition /poem  from Ng Kian Seng    9/12/2013

(I can’t remember where I got it in 1990s.)

When my life effervesces with joy

I feel wave upon wave of new strength

surging through my body

New strength lifts me up

to a higher level of joy

Joy begets more strength

Strength begets more joy

The two are inter-locked

 In an eternal circle

Of mathematical progression

reaching infinity

Little wonder

the joy of the Lord

is my strength
